This week's Sunday Postcard Art theme was "Doilies".

I used doilies to create the background for this.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.34

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Featured in the weekly sampler.

I'm in the process of going through my UFO (UnFinished Objects & Projects) pile to complete them or throw them into the scrap heap. This is a fragment.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.32.

When in doubt, throw out.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different outcome. It's past time for the insanity to stop.

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Pastel Steampunk."

I think I like the washed out "fragment" better, but I don't think either piece actually looks like steampunk. I finally had to enforce my "paint brush down" time limit rule. I have two additional, very similar postcards, here.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.18.

"Vernal Equinox" - Postcard

This week’s Take a Word challenge was "Spring Equinox."

I made something completely different from my usual style. I spent far too long on it, and I don't even think I like it. I finally had to enforce my "paint brush down!" time limit rule on myself.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.
