"Silver Elephant" - Postcard

© All Rights Reserved

This week's Sunday Postcard Art theme was "Greyscale".

I have a few faint hints of color in this, because I found an inspirational art piece that did that, too. (I forgot to save a link to it.)

I created this using GIMP 2.10.34

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Featured in the weekly sampler.

"Old Book Page Art 3" - Postcard

I made this piece with a book text page that I used for the "found poetry style statement." My inspiration piece was the "Altered Book Art Project" found on this "old book art examples" webpage.

All of the "found poetry style" lines are:

"She knew the mountain rains, like a flash and an instinctive unbidden gaze."
"His figure looming, wavering, from the shaking lantern."
"She noticed his dinner jacket."
"Instinctively doubting."
"I'm so sorry."

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.
