"Road Trip" - Tag

© All Rights Reserved

For the month of June, I have the honor of being the guest host for Tag Along. This week I chose the challenge theme of "Road Trip."

The vintage images are from an Internet search.

The  reference to Interstate 95 (I95) and Savin Rock (Connecticut) is related to the Savin Rock Amusement Park which was closed and demolished in the 1960s.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

Some of the fonts can be found on dafont and are:

The words in the background are from the song Come Dancing by the Kinks:

The day they knocked down the Palais
Part of my childhood died, just died

The  reference to Wilcox's Pier, Savin Rock, Conn is related to the Savin Rock Amusement Park which was closed and demolished in the 1960s.
