Purple Sunflowers (Daisy?) / No Mow May - Photograph

I took those photographs in my yard this past week.

A small patch of those purple sunflowers is all that I could leave unmowed in my yard, despite wanting to participate in "No Mow May" (see this US site, Bee City USA, and their post about No Mow May). The grass was tall enough to stall out the lawn mower, so I couldn't leave it unmowed.

This week's Try It On Tuesday challenge was "Inspired by a Word."

This week's Moo Mania challenge was "Close to Nature."

I don't think daisies actually grow in the Spring, but this is where my muse took me. The words in the background describe Spring.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.8.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
