Sometimes I get lucky, and the clouds make the moon look like it's on fire, with smoke wafting off of it.

Note: You can also see Jupiter in this photo. It is the bright spot below and to the left of the moon.

Happy Halloween! I took those photographs of this year's historic Halloween Full Moon / Blue Moon! The next Halloween Full Moon won't happen until 2039. And because the Full Moon that occurs closest to the September equinox is always called the Harvest Moon (October 1, 2020), the second Full Moon in October is called the Hunter’s Moon (Halloween, October 31, 2020).
