I took those photographs this past week. Three fawns roamed into my yard. This one stood out to me because of the parallel spots along both sides of its back. Maybe all fawns have spots like that, but this is the first time I noticed that type of symmetry on a fawn. Prior to this, I have only seen random spots on their sides.

I took those photographs through my house window this past week, so they aren't the best quality.

This mother deer and her triplets hadn't come through my yard in awhile, so I was happy to see the family unit is still intact. They were up near where the five trees had fallen two weeks ago. The changed landscape seemed to be a little disorienting to them.

I took those photographs through my house window this past week, so they aren't the best quality.

At first I noticed the two baby deer (fawns) in my front yard, seemingly all by themselves, and I wondered where their mother was. They roamed around nibbling on plants, which I didn't mind, until one of them went to the round flower garden I recently planted. Then they wandered to the side, where I saw their mother was.
