What follows below is Free Speech satire / parody / mockery / sarcasm / what have you:

A "certain" news story has more plot twists than a Soap Opera. The good news is one can miss several days of reports about it, and one will not have missed anything important to the main plot, just like in a Soap Opera. If you didn't hear the submarine story, don't worry: you didn't miss a thing. It's a he said she said, and loyal patriots will believe what their Government tells them happened, and know that the "other" Government is lying about what took place. But some in the audience have commented that their popcorn is getting stale, waiting for "something" to happen. Tune in next month... and the story will probably be the same as it is today.

I recently saw the movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. I went into the theatre without any preconceived notions of what the movie should be about, and I enjoyed it. I thought the movie had a well written, creative story and that it was well acted. Apparently the movie hasn't been well received by critics, but there have been movies that they raved about as being fantastic, that I thought were awful, so there seems to be a disconnect between their perceptions and mine.

Drummer Nutcracker - Photograph

© All Rights Reserved
This is 2 of 3 posts of photographs that I took of Christmas decorations in my house.

I love nutcrackers and have them all around the living room as part of my Christmas decorations. This drummer nutcracker is on a shelf behind a Christmas stocking and in front of a rhinoceros (that is normally on display). I liked how this photograph came out and might try to make it into a Christmas card (if I have time).
