"Rhinoceros / Steampunk / Rust" - Postcard

I made another "rust" piece using the same background as I did for my "Belly Dancer / Rust" postcard. If you look closely, you can see the rhino is slightly embossed.

"Aeroplane" – Moo (1.1" x 2.8")

This week’s Moo Mania challenge was "Embossing Powder."

I created this using GIMP 2.8.10. I applied Filter Emboss to the airplane schematic image in the foreground, then colored it gold. I used another airplane image for the background.

The images are from a DuckDuckGo search.

The font is DecoTech TL.

"Glitter Embossing" - Postcard

This week’s Three Muses challenge was “flowers.” This ended up turning into an experiment on how to create digital glitter embossing. I created the flowers using a GIMP script I wrote, then bump mapped them. I used a holly stamp for the background, and embossed it with glitter. I also did that to the cardinal.
