I took those photographs in my yard this past week.

It's amazing the beauty one can find in nature, if one pays attention to one's surroundings, and sees what is hiding in plain sight. Those rain water droplets on the various leaves almost looked like ice due to the dim sunlight that shimmered in them.

This is 2 of 3 posts of photographs that I took at Union Cemetery in Easton, CT this past week.

I was hoping the Eastern Blue Birds would be here again, but it might have been a little too cold for them to be out this time. The sky was still overcast from a rain storm that passed through. I almost didn't notice the leftover water droplets on the blades of grass.
