It's a fact. Fear is the best weapon for the 1% Elites in society to create and maintain tyranny over everyone else.

They used fear of the Wrath of God in Medieval times, to keep the peasants compliant, while the 1% Elites enjoyed the spoils of the peasants' labors.

They used fear of Witchcraft / Satan to steal people's property during the Salem Witch Trials.

By the end of February, the noticeably longer amounts of daylight (versus darkness) was a welcome sight. Each year, as the end of Winter approaches, the sun grows in prominence. This year, it occurred to me to wonder why Zeus, and not Apollo, was the most important God. Surely without the Sun, there would be no life, so the Sun God should be the pinnacle of all of the Gods, in mythology.

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Idol or Hero."

The theme was for someone who you admire, but my piece deviated from that, because I used "hero" in the mythology / fairy tale sense of the word. I'm not completely happy with my end result. Artist's block has been creeping back in on me.
