There were three Double-crested Cormorants there that day. One was next to a turtle, and the other two were standing closer to the shoreline.

This is 4 of 4 posts of photographs I took this past week at the reservoir in Easton, CT. A group of turtles was resting on this log until an interloper came along, and started knocking them off. The interloper tumbled into the water during the scuffle, and then there was one.
