William Shakespeare Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

This week's Try it on Tuesday challenge was "Powder your..." My artwork is digital, so to be compliant with the theme, I used some Photoshop Powder brushes from Deviantart in the background of this. I'm not completely happy with my result.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.8.

I created a Hearts Love theme art journal page for the Month of Feb page for the weekly planner/journal that I'm using for my Book of Days. Unfortunately it printed out darker than I expected it to, so I've included the original image.

This is also my entry for the following:

Moo Mania challenge of "Love is in the Air."
Try It On Tuesday challenge of "Romance."

"Romance" - Postcard

This week's Try It On Tuesday challenge was "Romance."

Sometimes less is more, along the lines of white space and clean and simple. This is one of my favorite couples to use for Valentine's Day and romantic themes. They stand on their own (no pun intended), and adding anything else to this art piece would only detract from them. (I did brighten the color of the background that I used.)
