"Paisley Printing" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Paisley" for the pattern.

I was looking for paisley patterns in books when I found old directories for the town of Paisley. I'm not 100% happy with my end result, and it doesn't contain any actual patterns, so I'm not posting it to the challenge site.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from the Internet Archive. (See the side of my blog for links.)

This is 3 of 3 posts of photographs I took at Hop Brook Lake Recreation Area in Middlebury, CT  this past week.

I liked the way they used these tiles to create the water height (in feet) markers.
