Elephant Mural Painting - Photograph

I took this photograph on Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020) in Bethel, CT. Almost no one was out, due to coronavirus covid-19 social distancing Lock Down rules.

I've wanted to photograph this mural for awhile, but unfortunately, it was marred by the presence of that pink sign on the ground, which I wasn't going to move, because I didn't want to touch it.

If you're wondering what that pink sign said, it was, "clean up your dog poop." Considering some dog owners didn't clean up after their dogs prior to covid-19, no one should be surprised that some people are ignoring the social distancing rules during covid-19. There is a percentage of people in our society who are all about "Me, Myself, and I" who don't care about anyone else, and they manifest themselves in our daily lives.

If you look closely at the base of the statue, that yellow object is a painted rock / ninja pebble. It had a positive message on it, that said, "kindness rules."

I took these photographs of Bethel-United Methodist Church on Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020) in Bethel, CT. The note on their door says it all. In this part of the US (and perhaps in all locations?), there were no Palm Sunday public masses due to coronavirus covid-19 social distancing Lock Down rules. Bethel has a nice downtown area, so I went here to walk around.

I took this photograph on Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020) in Bethel, CT. Almost no one was out, due to coronavirus covid-19 social distancing Lock Down rules. Normally, on the weekend, this area is full of people walking along the sidewalks, with cars parked along the streets, at this time of day.
