This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge theme was "Street Art."

I improvised with this one.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.

"Heroes and Gods" - Postcard

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Idol or Hero."

The theme was for someone who you admire, but my piece deviated from that, because I used "hero" in the mythology / fairy tale sense of the word. I'm not completely happy with my end result. Artist's block has been creeping back in on me.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.10.

I've been reading books of old
The legends, and the myths
Achilles, and his gold
Hercules, and his gifts

Where'd you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?

The week18 theme for my Book of Days was Beltane.

(I took some poetic license by including Pegasus on this. He is unrelated to Beltane.)

The images are from an Internet search.
