I took those photographs at Aspetuck Park in Easton, CT this past week. Parts of the park were flooded due to the 1.5"+ of rain that fell in this area. There is a thin layer of ice at the swing set.

Round Flower Garden - Photograph

I took that photograph in my yard this past week.

During the 2020 covid-19 pandemic Lockdown here in Connecticut, US, I added a new flower bed to my yard. Some of the flowers in it were annuals, and some were perennials.

Last year (2021), I had a problem with my left hand, and was unable to do any weeding, etc. As a result, all of my flower garden efforts in 2020 were for naught, because weeds overtook all of the gardens again.

So now, in 2022, I am once again trying to reclaim the flower beds. I started with the round (circle) garden. The three Sage (Lavender?) plants are new, and filled in spaces where annual plants had been. I also planted some seeds that I harvested, which I hope sprout.

I took those photographs at Aspetuck Park in Easton, CT at the beginning of August. Someone put two rocking chairs and a table on the diving platform / deck, which is a nice place to sit and look at the water.

I'm behind on posting these, and visiting blogs. My hand issue continues to flare up if I use it too much, so I can't do very much typing. :-( 

I appreciate people leaving me comments, and will try to visit when I can.

Those are photographs of my completed flower beds project.

At the end of May, I started my project of clearing out the weeds / vines / etc. that took over my flower beds over the years. Because of the Connecticut covid-19 Lock Down, where I wasn't going out except for essential trips, I decided to make 2020 "the year I regained control of the flower beds." I inspired myself to keep going by continuing to tell myself, "Rome wasn't built in a day." It was a lot of work, but now, five weeks later, the work is done.
