This is 2 of 5 posts of photographs that I took at the Grace Richardson Conservation Area, in Fairfield, CT this past week. The trail map is here.

This is a very nice wooded hiking area with a stream running through it. Unfortunately, deviants have decided to use it as a hook up location. In mid-August, police arrested six people here after conducting surveillance after receiving complaints of "lewd and sexual activity" in this open space area. Two of the people say they are innocent.

This is 2 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at Turkington Falls Natural Area in Redding, CT this past week.

This was the start of the Turkington Falls Trail Loop and the part of the path that heads to the Earthen Dam. I went right (North) at the trail marker and followed the path, part of which was almost completely overgrown with plants.

There were a lot of bugs and mosquitoes biting me, so I couldn't linger long in any one place to take photos.

I recently took these photographs during a day trip visit to Mercy by the Sea in Madison, CT.

Mercy by the Sea is a Retreat and Conference Center run by the Sisters of Mercy. Visitors are allowed to go there on their own, as long as they sign in at the front desk and get a day pass. They accept free will donations.

The grounds are located on Long Island Sound, and offer a peaceful place to relax and reflect. There is also a Labyrinth by the Statue of Mary, where they have Full Moon Labyrinth Walks.
