I couldn't decide which of these I liked best, so I'm posting all three. I varied the transparency levels in each of them. I think my order of preference is: 1, 3, 2.

I took those photographs while I was outside taking photos of the completed storm clean up efforts. That dragonly landed on one of the roots sticking up from the remains of the fallen pine tree.

I'm in the process of going through my UFO (UnFinished Objects & Projects) pile to complete them or throw them into the scrap heap. This is a piece that originally started out as something else, which I didn't like, so it was sitting around collecting dust. I modified it, liked the end result, so I'm pushing it out.

This is 2 of 2 posts of photographs that I took at Union Cemetery in Easton, CT this past week.

I came here because I read in the news that persons unknown had vandalized over 40 gravestones here:

"Police say more than 40 headstones were knocked over and damaged at Union Cemetery on Sport Hill Road. The vandalism resulted in around $40,000 in damages. They say it happened sometime between July 4 and July 11."

The Patch news article about the Easton crime said, "There was a similar incident in Milford on June 28" when both a church and cemetery were vandalized. I found that criminal behavior described in this CT Post news article.

I am disgusted by people who enjoy desecrating burial grounds. I was originally going to write an open letter to the people who did this, but what I had to say to them is better off not being documented in writing.

I took these photographs at the reservoir in Easton, CT this past week.

If you look closely at the first photo, you'll see a butterfly underneath the bottom flower.

An interesting looking light blue dragonfly photo bombed my last photo. Unfortunately the light blue one never landed where I could get a photo of him.
