This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Sewing (with a dress form included)."

I'm not sure if this is a true dress form that I used, but this is what I made. The background text is from a sewing instruction book.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.22.

"May" - Tag

I wanted to make some tags, so I started digging around through the Tim Holtz archives, to find some inspiration.

I mimicked Tim's August 2012 tag for this tag.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from a DuckDuckGo search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

"April" – Tag

© All Rights Reserved
I created this for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2015 - April challenge.

I mimicked Tim's steps to create my tag, using GIMP 2.8.14.

I still don't like how my method of creating digital inked edges looks. I keep trying different ways to do it, but so far none of them looks real.

The vintage images are from a DuckDuckGo search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Because my artwork is digital, and Tim Holtz's challenge is intended for people who buy his products, I'm not posting this on his site.

I'm late posting this. I've been working on this all week, trying different things, and ended up creating a vintage sewing pattern. I will try to catch up on visiting and commenting on everyone's blogs this weekend.
