Can Anyone Identify This Duck? - Photographs

I took these photographs in Fairfield, CT on February 5, 2013. This duck with the green head, pale yellow bill with a black tip and black center stripe, white and black mottled chest, brown body, brown wings with a trace of blue wing feathers, curled tail feathers, and brown legs was among a group of Mallard ducks. He seemed to be a part of the group, but his coloring is clearly different. I looked through pictures of North American ducks but I couldn't find him.

Water Reflections - Photographs

I took these photographs in my backyard on February 4, 2013, as the sun was dropping on the horizon. I love the golden tones the sun casts in the water at that time of day. And the rippling tree reflections added to the beauty of the scene.

I took this photograph of the 40% lit moon in the morning on February 4, 2013. Today it was overcast from snow clouds, so I couldn't get a photograph of it. I'm trying to take one photograph a day of it.

I've been practicing trying to get good photographs of motion. I end up taking a lot of shots that get thrown away because they are blurry or cut off or both. Sometimes the seagulls were flying around together but I wasn't able to get any clear shots of that. I will continue trying.
