We had another snow storm last night into the early morning, that dumped about a foot of snow on the area. I95 and the Merritt were closed in various locations in the early morning, due to stranded cars and jack knifed tractor trailers. These are a few pictures of my driveway and the path leading up to my car, none of which is shoveled out yet. I added an arrow so you can figure out which mound of snow out there is my car. Almost everyone I've talked to has had enough snow and winter at this point.

"Irish Tea" – Tea Bag

The GC87 Gingersnap Creations challenge due by Feb 13 is “Tea Bag Template.” I've never created a tea bag before so I made a simple design for my first attempt. I used the dimensions of the template that was on the challenge site (mountain folds), but created the template in GIMP. This is an Irish Tea bag. The flap ends up covering part of the design on the front. I'm not sure if that's right or wrong to do. I wanted to fill the entire front with a design, and I also wanted the flap to have its own design, instead of replicating the part of the front that was beneath it. The mountain folds also have the shamrocks on them.

"Winged Man" – 4x4

This week’s 4x4 Friday challenge was “Winged Man.” I gave wings to a centaur, and colored them.

The words, "I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way," are by Alfred Noyes. Another good quote by him is, "The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas."

"Stars and Moon" – 4x4

This week’s 4x4 Friday challenge was “Stars and Moon.” The quote, "The night walked down the sky with the moon in her hand," by Frederic Lawrence Knowles inspired my piece. Another wonderful quote is, "Shoot for the moon and if you miss you will still be among the stars," by Les Brown.
