This is 3 of 3 posts of photographs that I took at Lonetown Marsh Sanctuary in Redding, CT this past week.

Surprisingly, the bugs and mosquitoes weren't too bad here.

Tall growth at the wood platform obscured any view of the pond. The wood plank trail ended shortly after this, and became a worn path through the woods. I didn't go any further than this, however.

This is the Lonetown Marsh Sanctuary trail map.

I've only missed one afternoon and so much to catch up with! Beautiful woodland walk. You really got some fantastic photos. I definitely feel like I am taking this walk with you. Hope it wasn't on one of those very hot humid days. Happy Monday. Hugs-Erika
