I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.
This is my summation of the past week:
Those are photos of Teddy that I took during our trip to Perry's Mill Pond in Fairfield, CT a few weeks ago.
I needed a ticket into this week's T-gathering, so I used another photo of Teddy showcasing drinks and food in a magazine photo of The Blind Rhino in Bridgeport, CT. (Teddy said he wants to go there to try these Rhino Wings.)

The weather got hot and humid this past week. Over the weekend, strong thunderstorms went through the tri-state area on both days. On Sunday, they were so severe in Southwest Connecticut that trees and tree limbs fell onto various roads, including I95. There were multiple power outages, car accidents and road closures, and a man was killed when a tree limb fell onto his car. It's scary how tragedy can strike so unexpectedly.
For my creative side, I made Rhinoceros, Medieval Collage, and an Asian Crane tag and postcard.
Over the weekend, we watched Close-Up (1948), Don't Say A Word (2001) (DVD), The Fog (2005) (DVD), Planet Of The Apes (2001) (DVD), and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes (2011) (DVD).

Teddy sitting on the wall makes me nervous. You be careful, Teddy! We had the thunderstorms, too, but not bad at my house. The west side of my town had hail, on Sunday. It's amazing how Mother Nature can turn on a dime and the weather can turn deadly. Hopefully, the weather the rest of the week will be calm and sunny. Happy T Day!
Teddy looks good, as always, so hope he didn't fall off the wall. My house teddy, Edna, fell off the window ledge some time in the night, poor thing! Rhino wings?? Hmmmm! The weather is really going crazy all over the world. Happy T Day, happy July, hugs, Valerie
...Teddy gets around to some nice spots.
I was a bit worried for Teddy. He was so near that water and I wasn't sure he knew how to swim. He does seem to enjoy being outside in the fresh air, though. Teddy looks really happy (and safe) dreaming about those Rhino Wings. He'll definitely need a drink if they are that hot. Thanks for sharing these with us for T this Tuesday.
It's sad about the storms. The weather has been so freaky this year, and we've had similar deaths, including people drowning when their cars were swept off the road. Sounds like you (and Teddy) had a very productive week and fun weekend.
Oh, Teddy needs to be very careful on that wall...he makes for such a nice tea guest! The weather and storms have been crazy haven't they-we've had some of the same here too with tornado warnings. Stay cool and safe and happy T day!
Teddy always has such fabulous adventures and must have loved visiting Perry's Mill Pond! The scenery looks so beautiful 😁. Hope you managed to stay cool in those high temperatures and wishing you a Happy T Day! Jo x
That hot and humid weather sounds exactly like what we have been having. Hope you are staying cool. It sounds like you have been very busy.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
I'd love to join Teddy in one of his adventures. You really should write a children's book about Teddy's Adventures, Anne
Happy T-day! Eileen xx
I always enjoy seeing what Teddy is up to. :) Our son once visited us and watched all the planet of the Apes while he was here. I guess they had a Planet of the Apes marathon on tv while he was here. I like the first ones, then loose interest in the later ones. Happy T Day.
Teddy knows how to have fun, and he seems to have an eye for a good meal :) I'm book-marking "Close-up". Thanks! Happy T Tuesday :)
every week i wonder on which dangerous place teddy will sit LOL... but i´m sure you take good care:) have a happy week!
Oh yes, Teddy is a typical b..ear. Always climbing on things and then we have to shout: don't fall off!
Tell him he looks very cute posing with the rhino food.
I feel for all those affected by the bad storms. It can be so destructive, not to mention worrying. How awful to be killed bang! like that in your car! Exactly a year ago, a very good friend of mine was killed that way in Holland during a freak storm (July!)
I hope the bad weather has passed now.
Happy (belated) T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
