This is 1 of 3 posts of photographs that I took at Lonetown Marsh Sanctuary in Redding, CT this past week.

Surprisingly, the bugs and mosquitoes weren't too bad here.

Parking is in the lot across the street, at Redding Elementary School. The trail entrance is across the street from the parking lot, and south of the crosswalk, "through opening in wall opposite south end of" the school. This is the Lonetown Marsh Sanctuary trail map.

...I was walking through a marsh in Ithaca, NY last week and saw the same pink roses!

I checked the trail map, and your photos show it would be an interesting change from woodlands. What pretty flowers!
