Reeve Biggers Trail Connector Intersection - Photograph

This is 4 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at Turkington Falls Natural Area in Redding, CT this past week.

This was the intersection of the Turkington Falls Trail Loop with the Reeve Biggers Trail Connector. I followed the Reeve Biggers Trail Connector, but at the base of the steep hill, the path looked overgrown, so I was unable to determine where the Reeve Biggers Trail was, and had to turn back at that point. The cascades can be seen from the Cricket Overlook trail, which is off of the Reeve Biggers Trail.

I came here specifically to see the cascades, so I need to return here and try reaching them via the Reeve Biggers Trail entry point at the power line crossing on Gallows Hill Road.

There were a lot of bugs and mosquitoes biting me, so I couldn't linger long in any one place to take photos.

It is frustrating when trails are poorly marked. I've gotten lost more than once trying to guess my way along, so your decision to turn back was wise. I trust the other trail will have better directional markings and be less overgrown.
