"Mail Art (For Lisca)" - Postcard

I made a mail art piece for the backside of a postcard. Lisca receives postcards from people all over the world, so I asked her if I could send her one of mine, and she said yes. I mailed the postcard today (3/7/2019), so it will be interesting to see how many days it takes for her to receive it. The US post office told me it would take about a week. (The front side of the postcard is this.)

This week’s Thank God It’s Friday challenge number 99 was “Banners.” I made a rhinoceros banner and used a map of Africa for the background. I also used a jungle scene. Images are from the Smithsonian Institution Libraries and Maps ETC. These pennants/banners are a lot of fun to make. I might make more.
