...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM EDT WEDNESDAY...
...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values between 105 to 110 expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 112 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon to 9 PM EDT Wednesday. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Wednesday evening through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This has potential to be a multi-day extreme heat event with near record high temperatures and little overnight relief. This level of heat can be deadly for those without adequate cooling and hydration. Impacts to transportation infrastructure and electrical and water systems are also possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Extreme Heat Warning means that the combination of heat and humidity is expected to make it feel like it is 105 degrees or greater. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible, and drink plenty of water.

Seniors and those with chronic health problems or mental health conditions are at an increased risk. Homes without air conditioning can be much hotter than outdoor temperatures.

Use air conditioning to stay cool at home or go to a place that has air conditioning. If you don`t have home air conditioning, continue to seek out cool spaces each day as long as it remains hot, and for a few days after if your home is still hot. Check on vulnerable friends, family members and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! In cases of heat stroke call 9 1 1.

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. I took that photograph this past week.

The reason this flowering plant is in a jar of water is because the State / Town cut it down. It was growing on the edge of the road, not impeding the line of sight, and I had been mowing around it. The State / Town did NOT cut the rest of the edge along the road, which DID need trimming by them. But hey, it could be worse: they could have hit my mailbox like they did in the past.

My piece is a "cartoon" in the same vein as Charlie Hebdo cartoons. (Their "cartoon", which made a joke out of the deaths of men, women, and children, offended me, but apparently some thought those deaths were "hilarious", so, I too, can make cartoons that others might find offensive.) My piece and words are also free speech that is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. (Well, it used to be, prior to the ascension of the US Government Ministry of Truth dictating to Social Media Platforms which of their users need to be banned for "misinformation" as defined by the Government.)

Maybe Tom the bully will leave me another comment, telling me to shut up, because I'm not allowed to say anything unless he (and other "Free Speech is fine as long as it agrees with mine" bullies) approves of it.

The title of this is based on the United States phrase "Good Cop Bad Cop", in which two law enforcement agents, who are both working together toward the same end goal, perform a pretense "where one person adopts a hostile demeanor while the other acts sympathetically" (definition from Search Assist). Israel and the United States have their main actors, Trump and Netanyahu, excelling at this mummery, while the United States commits War for Israel against Iran.

"You've shot your missiles, that's enough."

I'm the Good Bully (GB) and Bibi Netanyahu is the Bad Bully (BB). See what I did there?

Iran is "begging to make a deal"!
I will have a peace deal in "two or three days."
