"Underneath The Starlight" - Postcard

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Song Lyrics."

This is one of my favorite themes to pursue on my own, so while I might make several postcards for this theme, I won't necessarily post them to the challenge site.

This is also my entry for this week's Foto Tunes.

I use my own imagination when I hear song lyrics, and envision what they mean to me personally, which is why I usually don't watch the official video, if there is one, for most of the songs that I like.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.14.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

-----

Underneath the starlight, starlight
There's a magical feeling, so right
It'll steal your heart tonight
You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark
You'll surrender your heart
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it
It's gonna get to your heart

Can't Fight The Moonlight - LeAnn Rimes

This is beautiful, but the guy looks a bit shady to me. Might be my state of mind at the moment, though.

I see you managed to sneak the moon in again. This is cool, though I can't decided whether she wants to dance with him (and he doesn't want to dance) or they are fighting...Happy Sunday, Stay dry. Hugs-Erika
