"Sing To The Moon" - Postcard

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Song Lyrics."

This is one of my favorite themes to pursue on my own, so while I might make several postcards for this theme, I won't necessarily post them to the challenge site.

I use my own imagination when I hear song lyrics, and envision what they mean to me personally, which is why I usually don't watch the official video, if there is one, for most of the songs that I like.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.14.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Hey there you, shattered in a thousand pieces
Weeping in the darkest nights.
Sing to the moon and the stars will shine
Over you, lead you to the other side.

Laura Mvula - Sing To The Moon lyrics

...another tune that is new to me.

That moon is bright and seems to illuminate the whole scene. No moon tonight I am guessing. We had a tiny dusting and now rain. It just looks pretty nasty, but makes for a relaxing Sunday. Hugs-Erika

Oh, somehow I see this only now! Reminds me of the "Lasso around the moon"-scene from the (Christmas movie I´m looking foreward to already), "It's a Wonderful Life"!
It´s Novemeber and you bring Christmas on already (kinda) !
