This is 2 of 2 posts of photographs that I took at "Bara-Hack" in Pomfret, CT this past week.
This site is actually the local historical ruins of land lived and worked on during the 1800s. Many stone walls remain, despite the forest regrowth. It is used by several groups, and there are no "No Trespassing" signs visible. However, I was respectful of the property, and followed the golden rule of "Leave only footprints and take only photographs."
There is a book written about this historical site, The Lost Village of the Higginbothams by Doris B. Townshend, which is available on:
Barnes and Noble
Amazon
Somewhere in time, this site became known as "Bara-Hack" and is allegedly haunted. I came here during the day and didn't stay very long. I didn't see or hear anything unusual. Haunted information.

...I've seen several cemeteries with no trespassing signs too!
