I took this photograph of the crescent moon this morning. The moon was 12.2% lit according to Time and Date data for Bridgeport, CT. I'm using that site for moon data until the US Navy site is back online in April 2020. This photo is a little blurry, but it was the best shot out of the set that I took. It was also a little chilly this morning, and I could see my breath (34 F / 1 C).
And in moon trivia news, the next Full Moon will be at 12:12 am local time on 12/12!

So pretty. I like the serendipity of the next full moon.
...just a sliver!
A bit blurry or not, that looks clearer than any shot I've been able to get. I've never tracked precise moon stages, but I do keep an eye on the stages generally.
Wow! Awesome moon shot!
