This is 1 of 2 posts of photographs that I took at Hoyden's Hill Open Space Area, the highest point in Fairfield, Connecticut, this past week.
Part of one of the trails in the woods runs along a stone wall lined unpaved road that emerges at Beers Road. The adjacent wooded property west of that has many stone walls in it.
Approximate GPS location at Beers Road: 41.225370, -73.284110

...I can hear the crunch of the leaves underfoot.
Looks like my back yard. We even have a stone wall as once upon a time this was all pasture land.
I do enjoy a woodland hike, and elements like water and stone walls add a lot. This looks peaceful :)
I hope Teddy didn´t get lost???
Yes, as a kid I liked crunching along. These days I go... uhhhh, look out for dog-poo!
Being an adult is stupid! ;-)
I want to thank you for stopping by yesterday. Nothing is broken, but I’m so sore I can’t sit and type with one hand for any length of time. I am sending this generic message because I want you to know I stopped by, appreciate you, and read your post today. Thanks for understanding.
Lovely to see your photographs, a lot of fallen leaves :)
All the best Jan
