Nothing is quite so pleasing as a pond bedecked with water lilies. A friend of mine with a large pond now has the pleasure of yellow pond lilies covering most of the surface, with a few white lilies too, and a pair of Green Herons tip-toeing across the lily pads. Doesn't get much better than that! And the kingfisher and the swallows add to the pleasure too!
