"T Stands For Teddy And Strawberry Milk" - Photograph

I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.

This is my summation of the past week:

Teddy will be serving double duty as my main image plus as my "T-Day ticket" for my T-Day posts for awhile.

Teddy said that after tea, strawberry milk is another one of his "comfort drinks." Teddy wrapped himself in my rhinoceros sweatshirt, to remind me that I need to tough it out during these stressful times.

United States covid-19 / coronavirus news: I live in Fairfield County, Connecticut, where we continue to follow our State Governor's Lock Down orders. Fairfield County currently has 56% (1445) of Connecticut's total number of positive test result cases (2571). And if you hadn't heard, on March 28, 2020, President Trump attempted to usurp the power of State Governor's, and quarantine "developing “hot spots” [in] New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut." Fortunately, New York Governor Cuomo publicly challenged him on it, and he was forced to back down.

But as they say, a picture tells a thousand words, and I think my From Connecticut With Love postcard speaks for itself:

Other postcards: Alchemy Wizard, Black White Red Bird.

I painted a clay pot and repotted my Christmas cactus (thanks for your help Elizabeth): Painted Clay Pot and Christmas Cactus In New Pot.

Happy T wishes.
I saw your last post before this one so commented there-I totally disagree with you on the President-many on the left wanted him to use his war powers to control all the states-all states are different so he left things to the governors with advisories, how to get what they needed, etc etc.
the governor of NY was crying about medical equipment-and it had been shipped to him sitting in his warehouse? also the mayor or the governor of NY should have stopped all flights, busses, cars whatever to stop people from leaving the city-now they have further spread this virus to all places in the country.
people need to stay home period in order to save lives-I don't get why they refuse to do this-martial law could be coming if they don't and then the the President will be at fault for that too.
I refuse to listen to fake news and Pelosi its horrible the fears and mistruths they are spilling just my two cents worth

It's T Tuesday, so I will spend my time talking to Teddy and enjoying strawberry milk. You know where I stand from a previous post (in ref to Kathy's response).

Teddy, I'm so glad you like strawberry milk. I've never had it, but I've had chocolate milk and it's yummy. Good that you are trying to keep Anne safe. She did a great job painting that pot and re-potting the cactus. You should put your warm fuzzy arms around her and let her know.

I've seen both Haven and The Commish. Loved them both. I hated the way Haven was left so open ended, or maybe I missed the last few episodes.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful strawberry milk and week with us for T this Tuesday, dear Teddy AND Anne.

oh comfort drinks. Mine if coffee milk. I bet Teddy enjoys his strawberry milk. You have far more cases the NH, but it is shocking how quickly those numbers go up. I work in Portsmouth which has the 3rd highest count in the state, but not as high as to bigger cities. I hope you stay safe. And I love you painted flower pot. It is beautiful and I bet your cactus looks super. I hope it was a nice T day and you enjoyed some sun. Hugs-Erika

Hope Teddy enjoys his strawberry milk. Medical supplies seem to be running low everywhere. Stay healthy, stay safe! Valerie

Teddy is not only wise, he´s a connoisseur, too :-)
Both does not go for Trump (really. When it was in the news he got burgers for the Football team we nearly fell off of our chairs!)

I like that pot!

You got that postcard?! Trump can tell the virus when to quit? Wow. He must be the most... oh, forget it. What did Putin say to that? He probably ripped off his shirt and posed to show how healthy he still is.
Small hands come to mind...

Oh I remember Strawberry Nesquick, I used to buy it for our boys so I'm pleased you can still buy it for Teddy

Teddy looks so cozy wrapped in the sweatshirt with his strawberry milk. I haven't seen either of those shows. I've been watching The Big Valley on Starz. It was a tough week and more tough times on the way, but we'll get through it. Thank God for strong governors like Cuomo (NY) and Baker (MA, even if he's a Republican)😺

I love Teddy with his nesquik, he is adorable! I hope you spent a good T-day Anne.
Here in Spain, the current situation is very bad. We all stay at home, but too many people have been infected, or have unfortunately died. I believe that the measures to contain the virus were taken very late, when there were already many cases of coronavirus, and, in addition, demonstrations and football matches were allowed, which is crazy.
A lot of material is missing in hospitals, many ICU beds are missing ... etc ... it is a real disaster. I hope all this ends soon.
I really like your "From Connecticut from love" card, you're right, a picture tells a thousand words.
Stay safe and well dear friend,
Big hugs, Caty

Strawberry Nesquick. Now that is a blast from the past. I remember I wanted it as a child but our parents would not buy it when we were small (quite rightly so I think as it is very sweet and gives children a sweet tooth). But now that we cannot leave the house, we need some comfort food (drink) and I am glad Teddy is enjoying his favorite drink.
Your painted pot is beautiful. I was hoping to see a photo of said pot with the cactus in it. (next time perhaps)
I love your postcard. I am a bit surprised by the three legged symbol. It is the Manx coat of arms (and also the flag). Manx also known as the Isle of Man. It has been their coat of arms since the 13th century.
Take care, stay safe,
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I don't think trump understands where his power ends. I'm wondering if he even knows what the Defense Production Act does and doesn't do. He seems to be afraid it's some kind of socialist nationalization of the corporations *sigh* I'd like to read him the Wikipedia article ;) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defense_Production_Act_of_1950

What a pretty pot!

Oooh Teddy!, strawberry milk, what a treat! I love how you painted the pot. These are certainly troubled times, I think everyone reacted far too late not realising what they were dealing with fully. Hopefully as more becomes known it will be easier to deal with. I remember seeing Trump at the very beginning and talking as though it was a common cold that would die out quickly...Huh!
Do take care! A very belated Happy T Day! Hugs, Chrs
