"T Stands For Teddy Ready for the Super Bowl" - Photograph

I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.

Teddy is drinking coffee while he surveys all of our Super Bowl Sunday snacks and desserts first thing in the morning, before the "big game." (I ended up with a game souvenir because of the cake top LIII logo.) We had a mix of snacks, dips, and sodas from Trader Joe's and Stop and Shop. Teddy insisted that I put in shameless plugs for the stores, because he's hoping to get a spokesman contract with them. I told him to keep dreaming. ;-)  (Note: we didn't actually eat all of these snacks. But the contents of the sealed bags will stay fresh until we eat them later in time.)

Teddy said we need to tell everyone what we've been doing for the past week, to reciprocate the friendly stories that everyone else has about their goings on in their T-Day posts. I told Teddy I'm not very good with writing, the way everyone else is. So here is my feeble attempt:

I posted my Super Bowl theme art journal page for my Book of Days. I'm a Jets and Giants fan, and the Patriots are our arch nemesis rivals. But because my teams weren't in the game, the Patriots are the next closest thing to a "local" team, so I was rooting for them.

Before the game, I watched Kiss of Death, which I heard about while visiting CJ & Ink's Second on the Second post. It was a great movie that I enjoyed seeing. If you like classic old movies, another great movie is Laura.

This past week I also made a few Valentine's Day tags.

This coming week (Feb 10) I have the honor of being the guest host at Sunday Postcard Art, and the theme I chose was "The Sun." This week's current them is "Nursery Rhymes." If you like making postcard art size artwork (4" x 6" or 6" x 4") please join us, because all mediums are welcome (as long as it is postcard size). Mandy runs the site and is very nice.

Teddy has some marvelous looking treats for Super Bowl. Trader Joes always has amazing treats. My favorite is their gummies.
We too dislike the Patriots so we decided to route for the Rams.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Teddy sure isn't going to go hungry is he:):) I have seen both those movies as I love the old classics! Many I have seen several times and they are still my go to if I want to watch something and there's nothing else on at the moment. Thanks for sharing and happy T day!

That looks like a good super bowl feast. I see you had a cake, as did we. In fact since it was just my husband and myself last night, we finished the cake tonight since we had an extra person here for dinner. Hope you have a happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Your Teddy is having a great Superbowl party, wow! I watched some cool films this week, too. And I know about the lovely Valentine tags! Have fun, if I have the time I will try to join in your Sunday postcard art. Happy T Day, Valerie

Teddy looks like he is definitely ready for the Superbowl. I didn't get that carried away this year, but this looks a bit like what I have served in past years. Unfortunately, there isn't a Trader Joe's within a thousand miles of me. OK, maybe less Miles than that, but none in Kansas. I'd never heard of them until I was in CA one year.

So glad Teddy was ready to party. I couldn't appreciate the Rams because they didn't deserve to be there. If only the ref had done his job, the Saints would have met the winner of the Chiefs/Pats game. I've never been much of a football fan, but when the Chiefs started winning, I got all excited. Thank goodness the head office fired the defensive coach after the debacle, or we might have had a chance to win in overtime. Thanks to you and Teddy for sharing your snacks and drinks with us for T this Tuesday, Anne.

I hope Teddy didn't eat all of the snacks before the match. I assume the match was over the weekend. was it good? Did your team win? I have never watched a baseball match in my life, even when we visited the US, I never saw a game. (Ignorance is bliss sometimes)
My cat a hiding behind the stove because it is a warm place. He is not scared in his own house. (Only with strangers)
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Teddy has some great snacks. I love ridged potato chips no dip and those Tates cookies are awesome. I had some once that were coconut and lime. You have been very busy, and I'm glad you found time to watch Kiss of Death. Widmark is just awesome. Happy T Day and enjoy your leftover snacks.

I love your Teddy stories, Anne. I think you should write a Teddy children's book. Seriously! It was nice hearing about your personal interestss as well. I want to check out the postcard art site. Sun is a great theme during the cold winter months. Plus yellow is the February theme at Art Journal Journey. I do 5 x 7 postcards. I wonder if that's okay.

Happy T-day! Eileen xx

What a spread of treats for Teddy!!!
We watched the game, just the two of us, not much snacking, just a little ice cream for DH.

I don't watch The Big Game, but I'd sit with you and Teddy and eat your tasty snacks ;)

Kiss of Death and Laura are both wonderful, aren't they! Laura, especially, is a treasure, and we have it on DVD for easy re-watching.

Happy late T Day!
