I took these photographs at Union Cemetery in Easton, CT recently.
This place is allegedly one of the most haunted locations in Connecticut, but I don't think there is any truth to the stories surrounding it. The orbs in these photos are backscatter reflections caused by the camera flash illuminating the bugs that were flying around, along with any dust particles that were in the air from me walking around. A bat was flying around, pursuing the insects.
Some people use cigarette smoke to create fake ghost photos, but I don't know why they bother to do that. They know that claiming they photographed a ghost is a lie, yet they still do it.

Dark and mysterious.
Wonderful photos, Anne.
I think they are light scatters too but it is fun to think they are some ghostly orbs communicating with us. Still, it's fun to get them in the photo. Hugs-Erika
I dont get fake photographs either - there is more than enough wonder, without resorting to invention I think.

Love your photos. Thanks for stopping by my blog. The 'colorful things' are hay bales in different colors that show a donation to different causes--pink for breast cancer, blue for prostate cancer, purple for Starship Children's hospital and yellow for children's cancer. Green is the normal color for the bales.
night at the cemetery is always a little spooky, even without ghosts...booh!
