I took these photographs at Aspetuck Park in Easton, CT this past week.

There was a snake swimming in the water.

Lovely scenes, peaceful scene and nature images. I hope the snake was a friendly snake. The blossoms are gorgeous. Enjoy your day and week ahead!

Such a peaceful place :) Those spring flowers! Whenever I see a snake in the water I assume it's a water moccasin. I enjoy seeing them but give them a wide berth ;)

I'm so glad both Teddy and I weren't around when that snake was in the water. The flowers, on the other hand and the park with the bench were idyllic.
