"Rhinoceros Playing Card" - ATC

© All Rights Reserved

This week's Three Muses challenge was "Alter A Playing Card."

I created a new playing card over a standard size playing card.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.12.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

That's the most original playing card I've ever seen. The rhino suit!

I forgot to mention several days ago about the EF0 tornado you had. I also saw there was another one last night in your area. I don't care if it's EF0 or EF5, it's still quite dangerous. Fortunately for those of us who live in tornado alley, we have several really good systems with which to deal with them. First, we have TRAINED storm chasers; second, we have exceptional radar that gives us ample time to find shelter; third, we have warning systems (sounds like a loud horn) that sound the alarm in our neighborhoods; and fourth, we know where to go because we have a plan where to "hide" once we hear the tornado warning system. You more than likely have NONE of those things to keep you safe. People who live in this area are even encouraged to have tornado drills once or twice in spring and school children have tornado drills, just like they have fire drills.

Do you even know where to go in case of a tornado? Go to the lowest part of your home, like a basement. Make sure you are in an inner room in the basement that has no windows. In lieu of a basement, find an inner room where there are no windows, or climb into your bathtub or closet to ride out the storm. If possible, place a mattress over your head (in the tub) and DO NOT come out until you hear the "all clear" signal.
