This is 1 of 5 posts of photographs that I took at the Grace Richardson Conservation Area, in Fairfield, CT this past week. The trail map is here.
This is a very nice wooded hiking area with a stream running through it. Unfortunately, deviants have decided to use it as a hook up location. In mid-August, police arrested six people here after conducting surveillance after receiving complaints of "lewd and sexual activity" in this open space area. Two of the people say they are innocent.

The photos are pretty and it looks like a beautiful place to walk. I like the photo where you are on the trail and are pointing the camera up the trail and into the treetops. It looks like it was a nice walk for you. Hugs-Erika
And here I am thinking people should mind their own business lol I feel for the folks who are just lookin' for a little privacy and get reported. Me, I just look away and walk in another direction ;)
Nice photographs. It looks peaceful (yet spooky) to me.
Lovely photos, here and in the previous posts. My fave is the Halloween tree, so spooky! Hugs, Valerie
...doesn't look spooky to me.
These are beautiful woods. We have a densely wooded park in my neighborhood which became a "hook-up" spot. The police started surveilling the area and arrested several people because they were in the park after hours. Then the city decided it wasn't a good place for people to go with all that wooded area and CUT DOWN all the trees! How sad a few people have to dictate what happens once a few other people spoil it for us all.
Looks like a fine place to walk as long as you don't bump in to people like those mentioned in the article.
If you go down in the woods today... I do find woodland to be one of the most shape-shifting of landscapes. One moment you can be in a magical, sun-dappled land of enchantment, cool dappled light and shimmering leaves, and the next it's all gnarled tree trunks, gathering gloom and deeply, deeply spooky! Love your Halloween tree, and there's just enough light around to stop me getting too spooked by it. I wouldn't visit it by night though.

Pretty. Too bad people have to go and spoil things
It looks like a beautiful location to take children for a walk and introduce them to nature, and it is a real shame that a few people deny them this pleasure. Surely there must be more private locations when they can engage in whatever they were doing. And these were people of age when they should know better.
Beautiful photographs. The first tree is a bit spooky ;)
