I took those photographs in the woods on the north side of Glen Road (Route 53) near the intersection with Newtown Turnpike in Redding, CT this past week.

Those woods are part of the Centennial Watershed State Forest. The official trail map must be carried as one's permit for access to the area.

The parking location is approximately: 41.287828, -73.389266

What a lovely trail through the woods. I love the way the light is filtering through the trees!

Moss always adds a lovely bit of color to a wintery landscape. It shows up well in your photo.
