This is 4 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at the Audubon Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary in Fairfield, CT this past week.
The older I get, the less I like Winter, however, each season in New England does have its unique beauty. And it was a nice surprise to see the red berries on this Holly, with less than two weeks until Christmas.

What a nice trail! I love seeing holly berries... it is such a beautiful plant.
The berries are a nice touch for the season. A bright spot on a cold day.
Nice walk photos. And that storm forecast, it is coming I think. For us too. I guess it will be a white Christmas. And then it can all melt. Agree? Have a safe storm. Hugs-Erika
...it'd neat at American Holly grows in your area, it doesn't do well here.
