"T Stands For Teddy And Comfort And Joy" - Photograph

I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.

This is my summation of the past week:

Teddy will be serving double duty as my main image plus as my "T-Day ticket" for my T-Day posts for awhile.

Teddy said he wanted to clarify with everyone that he is not trying to sell anything, by posing with these tea catalog pages. Teddy said he loved the Christmas themes shown in it, and he loves tins, like I do. Plus, it was for tea, so Teddy thought the T-Gang would enjoy seeing the pages. (Teddy said he admits that he would like to become the spokesbear, but he said he wants to be that for every food company in the world, especially the ones that sell honey. He has big dreams. I've learned from some of the previous comments not to discourage him.)

The weather has continued to be somewhat unpredictable, but it is New England, after all. I remained in a mostly dry pocket during the two back to back storms that went through last week, so I didn't get much snow, thankfully. And now this week, we're having a several day rain that will end as snow.

Somehow the week went by without much activity for me to mention.

I got another photo of the moon: Waxing Crescent Moon 66% Lit.

I made some Christmas Tags.

I put up my (artificial) Christmas tree and Christmas decorations this past weekend. I'll post photos at some point.

Over the weekend, we watched the following movies:

movies:

The Christmas Shoes (2002) (TV Movie) (DVD) (very good, but sad too)

Hallmark TV Movies (DVD) - all of these were very good with happy endings:

A Very Merry Mix-Up (2013)

The Christmas Ornament (2013)

Hitched for the Holidays (2012)

Christmas Dance (2012) (Come Dance with Me - original title) - beautiful waltz music piece, too

Like Teddy I love looking through the glossy pages of catalogs. Glad you missed the snow last week. The torrents of rain we have have melted it all at least in front of the house. Good! If you want another recommendation for a Christmas movie if you have Netflix try The Christmas Candle. It reminded me a little bit of a Hallmark movie. Happy T Day

I think cranberry sounds like the perfect taste for a Christmas tea. Well-chosen, Teddy! I love the pattern on those pillows in the background.

We had a bit of sleet and a little few moments of snow flurries. That's about all we're likely to get today. I've had an artificial tree for a long time now, and I'm happy with it. I look forward to seeing your photos :) The Christmas Shoes may be my most-hated Christmas song, so I'm not likely to watch that movie ;) We don't have cable, and I don't have access to the Hallmark channel and just never have seen any of their Christmas movies (that I can recall, anyway).

Happy T Tuesday!

Fun post, Teddy cuts a good figure again. He seems to enjoy his magazines. Spokesbear for honey seems to be a suitable position for him. Happy T Day and have a great week, Valerie

I bought that cranberry spiced hibiscus tea that is in your photo and I do love it. It makes me feel festive. I finally finished decorating tonight, which has taken me a week and a half, so good for you to get yours done in a weekend. I hope it's been a good week, a happy T day and you don't see any snow as this storm changes over. Hugs-Erika

Just stopping by to let you know I’m back online. Both my internet AND my phone were down. I walked to my foodie friend Sally’s to use her phone to call the phone company and Sharon who graciously left the message.

I complained to the phone company that my internet often goes down on Mondays. I bet Sharon is getting tired of hearing from me on Monday afternoons. I asked the repair person what the problem was and he said “a line down the block had broken,” and after he repaired it, he came here and reset my phone AND internet lines. This was the greatest early Christmas gift I could have received. Yes, I’m doing a happy dance.

I can’t possibly catch up with you at the moment, but I am simply grateful that you chose to visit and spend T time with me today. Thank you for that.

I think Teddy would make a good spokesbear for T Tuesday, too. Those teas look great. At first, I thought the tins held loose leaf tea. Thanks for sharing and your weekly review, too. I'd LOVE to alter the tins, too. I can see a floral display inside them.

Hallmark movies are sappy, but they are also feel good. They are uplifting with a positive ending ALWAYS.

Anne, did you and Teddy notice my tin can collection under our Christmas tree at last week's tea party? yes, I'm a pretty tin can lover/collector too. To clarify: not that I'm pretty; the tin cans are. 😊

Happy T-day! Eileen xx
