I took these photographs of the early morning sunlight on the ice on the trees in my yard from the Monday into Tuesday storm we had. These photos didn't capture the crystal palace appearance of all of the bare trees. Where I am in southwest Connecticut, we got about 0.18 inches of ice. Luckily the power stayed on.

Boy, Anne, you've highlighted why I don't miss NJ!

Happy T-day! Eileen xx

P.S. I had trouble getting to your blog. So I hope I'm in the right place.

Ice is beautiful, but when we've had ice storms it shuts everything down. Of course, down here the lightest snow tends to shut everything down lol I'm glad you kept your power through it all.

We had snow, not ice. Ice always so pretty to look at BUT, that's about it. Losing power and slipping and sliding on your feet or driving...but it is so pretty in your photos! Hugs-Erika
