I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.

This is my summation of the past week:

Teddy will be serving double duty as my main image plus as my "T-Day ticket" for my T-Day posts.

Teddy is posing on the Saugatuck Trail bridge during a recent brief walk there.

We also went walking at the reservoir, where the water remains low due to drought conditions here in Connecticut. (United States Drought Monitor - Connecticut)

I also took some photos of my cat, and deer that roamed through my yard.

This week I have the honor of hosting Sunday Postcard Art, and I chose the challenge theme "Pirates."

In weather news, we had some very scary sustained high winds during a storm that came through Sunday night (November 15, 2020). Shortly after 8pm, my electricity went off, so I didn't know that around 8:30pm, they issued a Tornado Warning for my area of Connecticut. The sound of the wind was similar to the Tropical Storm that came through this area in August and knocked down five trees in my yard. Thankfully this time I was spared that sort of damage, unlike other places in this area. News stories:

Teddy is enjoying one of the last warm days, it seems.
Crikey, that sounds scary with tornado-warnings and no power! Stay safe...

That looks like a very nice, sturdy bridge that Teddy has found! It looks like it was very well made. Sounds like it has been a good week, except for the high winds and power outages Sunday night. The wind was scary here that night but we did not lose power.

So enjoyed walking with you and Teddy on the trail, the view over the reservoir looks so beautiful 😀. So glad the wind storm didn't damage your yard again and I loved seeing the deer with the autumnal leaves, gorgeous! Glad your cat is fully recovered now, he is looking very handsome 🐱. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x

I’m glad you and Teddy got out for a bit. Also glad no damage from the storm the other night and your electricity was restored quickly, The area around the bridge is pretty and I really like the photograph of the vivd, green pine branches with pinecones on the bed of brown pine needles. Was G’s wide-eyed expression because he was watching the deer? Happy T Day.

Is that bridge stepped or flat? Teddy must need a break stopping there for a drink. Smile. It looks like a beautiful spot and a nice day to walk too. You can't go wrong with a diet coke. Although I do think they are a bit addicting. Happy T day Anne. Hugs-Erika

I'd love a walk over that bridge and around the area-looks so peaceful and pretty.
Thankfully you didn't get the tornado or heavy damage. Our power was out for hours, and they are looking at a possible tornado touchdown about 40 min. SW of where I live-yikes!
Keep safe, and happy T day!

Teddy must have been quite thirsty after that walk. His coke is nearly as big as he is. I really enjoyed seeing how cute and adorable he looked on that bridge.

You are not the only one to experience tornado warnings this week, but you are the only one I "know" who also lost power and didn't realize a tornado was passing over. Scary indeed.

Thanks for sharing your postcard art, your photos, an update on your cat, and of course, the every cuddly Teddy for T this Tuesday, Anne.

Teddy looks like a fun walking companion. Maybe my teddy would enjoy an outing. We could let our teddy bears meet :) It'd be easy to distance at such a wonderful location. (Of course, I'm in Memphis, so... but it's a fun thought)

I'm glad you were spared that damage this time around. Happy T Tuesday!

Lovely pictures from your walk and yard, Anne. The deer one is really special.

I'm glad you didn't lose any more trees in the recent storm or have any tornadoes.

Happy T-Day! Stay safe and stay well. Hugs, Eileen

Not fun that you lost power from the storm. We had really high winds and rain here as well on Sunday.
Looks like a great trail to walk.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Great photo of Teddy on the trail. (he forgot his blanket to sit on).
I love your photos, especially of your cat. He/she is very photogenic.
How scary to hear the howling of the wind and not really knowing what is going to happen. We don't get tropical storms like you do but I hate the whistling of the wind and it makes me very jumpy, although there is no danger at all, it's just the wind.... Anyway, I'm glad you didn't get the damage you had last time.
It's great you are hosting Sunday Postcard Art, I'm going to have a look at that now.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Wow, Great spot Teddy! I took little look at your other pictures from around the bridge - what a beautiful area it is!
Love the cat, we don't often see cats but two were having a face off on the stairway right outside our kitchen window the other day, we heard them before we saw them!
How lovely that deer walk nearby!
Glad you were OK after that big storm!
Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
