Stone Wall Columns And Structures In Woods - Photograph

This is 3 of 3 posts of photographs that I took in the woods near the intersection of Pine Tree Road and Rock House Road in the area of the Easton and Redding Connecticut town lines this past week.

Those woods are part of the Centennial Watershed State Forest. The official trail map must be carried as one's permit for access to the area.

These are very interesting stone wall structures. I wonder if there were fence rails between the columns at one time.
