"Caged Birds" - Postcard

© All Rights Reserved

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Caged."

The birds in the background are inside the cage, but the bird in the foreground is free. He's planning a "prison break" to liberate his feathered friends. :-)

I created this using GIMP 2.10.22.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Personally I'm glad the bird in the foreground is planning an escape. I think that something we all could use now, Anne!...:)jp

I have caged birds and so particularly like this piece. Our little finches escaped once and then tried for ages to figure out how to get back in the cage lol But that wild bird needs its freedom :)

Beautiful piece. I used to breed lovebirds and when one of the young ones escaped it's mother called to in the evening and it came back to the aviary, so although they like their freedom I think they like somewhere to go back to it was home to them. Happy creative week, Angela xXx
