Greenfield Hill Cemetery Gravestones - Photograph

I took those photographs at Greenfield Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, CT this past week.

This cemetery has my favorite gravestone: a skull and cross bones. It was just beginning to rain while I was here, and I liked how the raindrops looked on the gravestone. They straightened all of the gravestones on the left side of the cemetery, so that they are all level now. It also looks like they cleaned them, because the white gravestones are more noticeable now.

I don't remember ever seeing a skull and crossbones at a cemetery. Interesting look added with the rain drops, Anne...:)jp

Striking! I've never seen that design in a cemetery.
