"Haunted Oak Tree" - Postcard

© All Rights Reserved

This is 1 of 2 postcards that I made for this week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge "Trees."

The background text is from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, one of my favorite short stories.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.12.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

And a little scary, too.

Gorgeous card. I like your choice of background text. Old Sturbridge Village does a moving play of Washington Irving's story at various locations in the village. The play is from now until 11/3.

Oh I love this. I remember being very scared of a recorded version of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Grade 1 (a bit too young for such things if you ask me!). Fantastic spooky mood on this card Anne. :)
