Great Egret Pair - Photograph

This is 1 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at Mill Hollow Park in Fairfield, CT this past week.

I thought these two egrets were related and friends, because of how close they were standing to each other, but then a few skirmishes over territory ensued.

Wow! I've seen large birds like a blue heron, but only one. Never two.
