I took that photograph through my window this morning. It took about 3 hours for the temperatures to drop across Connecticut, for the snow that had been falling in Litchfield County starting around 6am to reach me near the coast, around 9am. Prior to that point, it was falling as rain. Coastal Connecticut doesn't usually get snowfall until December, but it is possible to get it as early as late October, as can be seen today, October 30, 2020, one day before Halloween. Who thought we'd be singing, "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" this soon?

...we had a few flakes this morning.
It's till snowing and all this was supposed to stop by lunchtime. Now 3:25 PM. And I think we've surpassed the 2 -4 inches of snow predicted. The plow went down the street about a half an hour ago.
We got snow and ice here on Monday. It was a shock. Our weather is certainly unique this year, BUT, it is after all, 2020!
We had snow here too! It looked beautiful on the trees. I did have to clean a couple of inches of snow off my car.
You captured an atmospheric fall scene. Nice!
